Sunshine Cruz has shut down rumors about her relationship with Atong Ang, denying the claims of physical abuse and a supposed breakup.

On Facebook, the actress shared screenshots of posts from different accounts with the malicious claims, calling them “fake news.”
“Sharing misinformation is not advisable especially if the news comes from a questionable site. Be vigilant family and friends,” Sunshine wrote.
Among the posts she slammed suggested that Sunshine had broken her “silence” and is seeking justice after being hurt physically.
Apart from sharing a list of things to check in recognizing a fake news story, Sunshine also shared a quote card that said, “Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet just because there’s a picture with a quote next to it.”
Atong confirmed his relationship with Sunshine in December 2024 after they were spotted kissing, but Sunshine never spoke about it.
Sunshine was previously in a long-term relationship with Macky Mathay, and opened up about the breakup in 2023.
The actress was also married to Cesar Montano, but their marriage was annulled in 2018. The former couple continue to spend time together with their daughters Angelina, Chesca, and Sam.
Meanwhile, Atong was previously linked to Gretchen Barretto.
