Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual shared that he has no plans on entering politics as he already found his calling in acting. The Pamilya Sagrado star revealed this to the press in attendance during the finale media conference of the show last November 5.

Piolo might have played the role of a politician in the hit series but in real life, he doesn’t see himself as one.

“I have friends that have been inviting me, some groups that have been inviting me,” he revealed.

The Kapamilya star shared that his busy schedule in both being an actor and a producer will keep him away from the doors of politics apart from having no desire to enter it in the first place.

“Pero, sa kabusyhan ko I don’t think I’ll have time for it. It’s also not my interest to enter politics. I already have my field to practice what I want to practice. Ever since, I was never interested in politics and we just pray for them,” he added.

He assured people that he won’t be running for a position any time as he already loves being an actor–– a passion he’s been fueling for several decades already.

“I love what I do. I’m going to stick to acting ’cause ito na talaga yung trabaho ko ever since. I don’t think I have the heart to do politics,” he shared.

Despite not entering the political world himself, Piolo maintained that he continues to show support to those he believes that could help not only him but the rest of his countrymen.

“Siyempre, yung mga pinaniniwalaan mo. Yung mga sinsupport mo cause you want them to have the position to help the country,” he ended.
