Piolo Pascual’s funny video, which was posted on the social media platform ‘X’, where he said he’s supposed to thank many more people for winning the 2024 FAMAS Best Actor award, but was unable to do so because he’s got one drink too many, has already gone viral.

The video, which was posted on the said social media platform in the page named ‘ALTStarMagic’ around midnight today has already been viewed over 117K times, with reacts reaching almost 2K.

In the said video, one can see the actor holding the FAMAS Best Actor award trophy in his hands and was heard talking about his desire to thank more people but said he already had too many drinks, indicating that he would rather talk less as he might be saying things he shouldn’t say.

Papa P was also heard repeating the same statement twice, to the amusement of those who were with him on stage.

The actor might have even realized it and just giggled about the entire affair.

Piolo Pascual is a Pinoy actor who appeared on TV shows like Gimik and Mara Clara during the early 90s. He rose to prominence after being paired with Judy Ann Santos, with their love team becoming the talk of the town during the early 2000s. They did four multi-awarded movies during that time — Till There Was You, Kahit Isang Saglit, Don’t Give Up on Us, and Bakit Di Totohanin.

Recently, Piolo was declared as the winner of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Best Actor award during the organization’s awards night held at Manila Hotel’s Fiesta Pavilion. He won the award for his portrayal of the character of Juan Severino Mallari in the movie “Mallari,” which is a horror/drama film that is based on a true story. Papa P then climbed up the stage and proceeded to express his gratitude to the award-giving body, as well as his co-actors in the film. This is Piolo’s second FAMAS Best Actor award, the first being was for his portrayal of the character of “Lino” in the 2004 movie Milan.

Also recently, a video of Piolo making an attempt to do the “Pantropiko” challenge has gone viral.
