TOTOONG-TOTOO raw pala ang mga naririnig ni Bossing Vic Sotto patungkol sa award-winning Kapamilya actor na si Piolo Pascual.
Sa naganap na grand mediacon para sa official entry ni Bossing sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 na “The Kingdom”, natanong kung kumusta ang unang pagsasama nila ni Piolo sa isang acting project.
Inamin ng “Eat Bulaga” host na nagdalawang-isip siya kung tatanggapin ba niya ang naturang pelikula na inalok sa kanya ng direktor nitong si Mike Tuviera.
Sey ni Bossing, tinanong niya ang sarili kung bagay sa kanya ang role na in-offer sa kanya at kung kaya ba niyang mag-all out drama dahil nga nasanay na siya at ang manonood sa kanyang pagkokomedya.
“And then, noong finally parang okay na sa akin, I asked them, sino ang mga kasama? Sabi ni Direk, we’re negotiating with Piolo Pascual. Sabi ko, okay, go na tayo!

“It’s not every movie, kasi, we belong to different stations. We never had the chance to be together. So, this is one pagkakataon na hindi ko palalagpasin,” pahayag ni Vic.
Kumusta naman yung mga naging bonding moments nila ni Papa P? “Yung bonding namin ni Piolo, I was asked before, hindi kami nagba-bonding. Hindi kami magkakilala, e. Sa movie, itinatwa ito, outcast siya, so wala kaming pakialam sa kanya.
“It just so happened nang malapit na ang climax ng pelikula, do’n kami magtatagpo. Du’n kami nag-bonding. Sobra ang bonding namin, rurok na ang bonding namin,” paliwanag ng TV at movie icon.
Patuloy pa niya, “I heard things about him before and napatunayan ko na he’s a good actor:
“And as a matter of fact, in some or our sequences together, pinapanood ko siya and medyo nag-fanboy moment ako.
“Ang galing! Ang hahaba ng dialogue pero hindi siya nagkakamali. Ako, ang ikli lang, pero nagba-buckle pa. At yun, napatunayan ko na he’s a seriously good actor. Not just good actor but good person,” aniya pa.
“Working with a professional like Piolo is a very good experience,” dagdag pa niya.
Bukod kina Vic at Piolo, kasama rin sa naturang MMFF 2024 entry sina Cristine Reyes, Sue Ramirez, Nico Antonio, Sid Lucero at ang child star na si Zion Cruz. Showing na sa December 25 ang “The Kingdom”.
